Haliotis laevigata (Greenlip Abalone)

The Tasmanian abalone fishery is also the largest abalone producer in the world, contributing ~25% of the annual global harvest. The fishery is one of the most valuable fisheries in Tasmania. IMAS researchers conduct this annual assessment to support the management of the fishery.
